The Skylark Trail is a circular walk indicated all the way round by the Skylark waymarker. The longer walk is approximately 1.7 miles (about 50 mins walk) or take a shorter route of approximately 1 mile (about 30 mins walk).
Dogs should be kept on a lead whilst on the Nature Reserve to prevent disturbance of the nesting sites.
There is a gravel track behind a metal gate at the far end of the lower car park at The Valley. An information and map board is located here. Following Skylark waymarker discs, walk down a gravel track to the river, then turn left. Follow the footpath, keeping left at the fork. The site entrance is just after the old railway bridge.
