For each walk we give the length, approximate time it takes and its grade. The grade tells you how hard the walk is likely to be:

Easy – Usually five miles or less, a few stiles and gentle inclines
Moderate – Usually more than five miles, some stiles, some steeper inclines and possibly slippery sections
Hard – Usually more than ten miles with several inclines and possibly slippery sections
